DEATH IS INEVITABLE

A child was born to a King. The king was very happy. On his first birthday of the child, the king called many astrologers to predict the future of his son. He asked them to tell the future of the child. Each one of them predicted and praised about the bright future of child in different ways and went away with lots of gifts and prizes from the king. However, one astrologer did not say anything and was just sitting idle.

The king asked him why are you silent and don’t say anything about my son. He told that I am afraid that instead of giving me prizes you may punish me. The king said don’t be fearful and predict the future of my son. He told that I am sorry to tell you that one day this child will die. The king got annoyed for this unpleasant prediction and ordered to put him behind jail.  The Minister who was witnessing all this told the king to pardon this astrologer because others predictions might be wrong but his prediction will never be wrong as the death in inevitable. One who is borne will have to leave this world one day. So don’t punish him. The king was satisfied with the Minister’s arguments and freed the astrologer with gifts.
